March Task of the Month

Is your club planning on attending LEDCON? What plans do you have — are you applying for Contests & Awards, have you fundraised money for expenses, etc? If not, why not (transportation, expenses, etc)?

EX: Yes, our club is planning on attending LEDCON this April! We are bringing all of next year’s club officers for them to get trained, our current officers, and club members that want to come as well, which is a total of 18 people. For Contests & Awards, most of our current officers have applied for the Outstanding Officer Awards, and we are planning on applying for most club-based awards, such as the Club Website Award. We have already fundraised enough money to cover our expenses for transportation and hotel costs. But, we are still continuing to fundraise for the food costs during the convention. In addition, we are all super excited to attend, because some of our current officers went last year and thought LEDCON was such a fun experience!
