Article Prompts and Task of the Month for May

Task of the Month.

Does your club plans to have service over summer? If so, what are some projects? If not, why?

  1. Describe how Key Club has made a positive impact on your life.
  2. What activities does your club have planned for the summer? Be specific.
  3. How does your club plan to promote volunteering over the summer?
  4. New officers – What are you most excited about, and what are your service goals for this year?
  5. Returning officers – Describe highlights from the 2020-2021 year and what you can improve on for the new year.

You are always free to write about any Key Club-related topic! The articles should each have at least 1 JPG photo and be sent as Microsoft Word documents. Have the author, school name, division, article title, and prompt/whatever topic you choose at the top of the document. Email May articles by June 5th to with the email subject: Division School May Articles.

Kelly Poland

I joined Kiwanis in 1998 and have held all positions within my club. I served as Lt. Governor for 2 terms and have also served as District Community Service Chair, Co-Chair for District Key Leader. Currently I am the EliMiNate co-ordinator for my club and a certified trainer for the District.

In my personal life, I have been married to Ray for 36 years have 2 children. I am very active in my church and play the piano with our Praise and Worship team.

I have been greatly blessed and it is my joy to pass the blessings to others!
