Greetings from your Texas-Oklahoma District Secretary Sarah Haagen!  I look forward to serving with all of you for this next year!  I would like to remind you that your reports are due to me by the fifth of the month and I expect a LOT of mail soon after that date.  I would like to let you know some of my goals for next year.  They are to get reporting online, set up a report card system so you can improve your clubs each month, to see an increase in the number of clubs reporting, and to send a reminder email to each secretary on the first of the month.  If you have any questions, comments, concerns, murmurs, or ideas for the next year you can email me at sarahhaagen@aol.com.  I know each of you will do an excellent job!

  
     
 

SECRETARY BULLETIN

  
 

Sign-in sheets must be sent in for all club and board meetings with 100% attendance as well as service projects with 100 or more accumulated man hours to receive any credit.

  
 

A copy of the report form and activity sheet must be sent to the District Governor, District Secretary, Lt. Governor, Regional Advisor and Sponsoring Kiwanis Club each month.  Club meeting and board meeting notes, proof (of meetings with 100% attendance or projects with over 100 man hours), the task of the month and the decorated envelope are only necessary for the secretary. All reports must be postmarked by the 5th of the following month.  JULY TASK O' THE MONTH

  
 

Each month, a new task will be posted for secretaries in our district.  If completed correctly and sent to the District Secretary along with reports, secretaries can earn their club an additional 15 points per month!  If you ever have any questions regarding each month's task, please contact your District Secretary, Sarah Haagen at sarahhaagen@aol.com.

For this month’s task, write a short paragraph about your favorite service project. Include what the service project entails and why it’s your favorite project. I can’t wait to read them!
