DISTRICT BOARD HAS SUMMER MEETING

  
 

The second official meeting of the Texas-Oklahoma District Board was held the weekend of July 18-20 in Irving, Texas.  Many issues were debated and decided by this year's board, including the 2009 District Convention theme and 2008-2009 District Project.  In addition, Governor Krishna Suthar officially announced her 2008-2009 Governor's Project.  Pictured to the left, Lt. Governor Lauren Zurmehly takes the annually required Board Parliamentary Procedure and Bylaws exam as part of her duties to learn the operating procedures of our district.  Check the results of your lt. governor by clicking HERE.

forward to strengthening our District through an increase in communication and make an effort to work with the entire Kiwanis Family to strengthen our K-Family relations.   Most importantly, let us focus on service.  By the end of the year, I hope to have fulfilled my duty to the best of my ability.  Serving others is my passion, and I am looking forward to sharing this passion with everyone in our mighty TO District.
